Terms for the letter “A”

Account – Player’s account at a slot machine, bookmaker’s office or electronic casino.

Dispersion – In mathematical statistics and probability theory, a measure of dispersion (deviation from the average). In probability theory, the variance of a random variable is the mathematical expectation of the square of the deviation of a random variable from its mathematical expectation. In gambling, the term is used in calculating winnings. For example, with one bet of 100, the variance is higher than with a hundred bets of 1.

Open table – A special procedure conducted daily at the beginning of the opening of the non-stop casinos. Opening of a table consists of the counting of game chips in the fleet, preparing the table for work. Controlled by the pitboss.
